Tell us what you think\u00a0by sending us your comment to info@vcsww.co.za<\/a><\/span>.\u00a0 With many thanks to Unwembi for all their hard work!<\/em><\/p>\n Last week autumn arrived in Cape Town.\u00a0 The evenings got distinctively chillier and it rained!\u00a0 Yes, you heard me, we had rain.\u00a0 Not just a few drops, I think one night it was about 20mls.\u00a0 So we did the \u201crain celebration dance\u201d which basically consists of running out into the garden and clapping our hands and turning our faces up to the falling drops.\u00a0 It was lovely.\u00a0 I don\u2019t think I\u2019ve ever been so happy to see rain, and true to my word, I did not once complain.\u00a0 Then autumn seemed to disappear and summer has come back to visit.\u00a0 Sunny golden warm days, no winds, high temperatures, it\u2019s bizarre, lovely, but\u2026 bring back autumn and the rain please!<\/p>\n Walking on the Rietvlei last week we noticed the swallows swooping and swirling, saying their \u201cau revoir\u201d before they head off on their migration.\u00a0 We saw a flock of Egyptian Geese flying towards Cape Town and watched as it flew around Devil\u2019s Peak, and then towards Constantia. \u00a0I imagined the view as the birds flew over the southern suburbs.\u00a0 Cape Town is beautiful at this time of year, her trees displaying their delicate orange, pink and yellow autumn colours like a sunset on a cloudy day.\u00a0 Coming back towards Cape Town they would have a bird\u2019s eye view of the suburbs of Cape Town city, and would, if they swooped over the foothills, spy a jewel by the name of Southern Comfort Guest Lodge, nestling in Oranjezicht, a suburb on the slopes of the majestic Table Mountain.<\/p>\n Myself and my partners at Virtual Concierge Services had the pleasure of meeting Maya Bremridge, the delightful and welcoming owner of the lodge.\u00a0\u00a0 Southern Comfort Guest Lodge features comfortably appointed modern Deluxe Double Bedroom ensuites, each with a private patio, but share a well-appointed outdoor swimming pool and pool deck, surrounded by a garden terrace. \u00a0We went up to the roof-top viewing deck and found the views enthralling!
